Last week "STONE SOUP" spent four days at SSS to lay down some great tracks for their debut cd. The close family harmonies and solid instrument work on this collection will make it a must have. I'll keep you posted on it's release.

The Chuggles gig on November 5th was the beginning of a bold new sound for me, and it feels great! My idea was to write new material in the style of the great old folk/rock bands of the 60's and 70's (Neil Young, Bob Dylan & The Band, etc.) plus do some of their covers to round out the show. My band members although some twenty years displaced from the style, slipped into it like a duck's foot in mud. Three rehearsals and they played like a seasoned band. I have listed their names in the Bio section and will be introducing them to you in the days to come. More to come! More to come! ...thanks to Charlie Coolen for stepping into the bass part in such short notice... solid man, solid!

The Hull family will be recording at Saltwater Sound in mid November... call Dennis Hull in Antigonish for gigs and more info. 863-it's in the book...I think!

At this time of death and rebirth we mourn our losses and celebrate blessings. As darkness yeilds to light, we too in turn, shall yeild to new life.
